Announcing the indisputable winner of my latest Pizza Quest! Yes, it's been six months since I began my search for a new neighborhood go-to pizza parlor, and today I uncovered the Holy Grail. The crust is the perfect thickness, texture and flavor, with a light dusting of fine cornmeal, and the sauce is tasty but not overpowering. It's topped with an amazing fennel sausage and just the right amount of a wonderful quality mozzarella cheese. None of these elements overpowers another in a perfect marriage of ingredients. Pictured is their regular bake, and exactly how I expect a pizza to be cooked. I literally cried when I saw it, and that was before I tasted it. The only downside to all of this happiness, is that it's halfway between my house and the gym, making it far too easy to pick-up after my water workouts. Irony, thy name is Zazzo's!

We visited here for a Birthday party. They had 1 attendant for the entire party and the room was tiny. She kept going through people and taking photos was a hassle. They finally opened a door closer to the food area near the end. All of our tables had diet Coke for some reason instead of regular. I felt bad for the lady working the room because she looked like she could barely keep up with requests. They had salad, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and beef. Food was okay but the fried chicken probably took center stage. We ended up ordering a separate pizza for our kids and it wasn't anything great. I did notice another table order a gluten free pizza so that was another plus. There were slots near the bathrooms which I found odd but all the chairs seemed to be filled with people. The bathroom seemed pretty clean and there was ample parking. Would we return? Maybe for the fried chicken.

Food was delicious! I feel like it's the better thin crust pizza's outside of Chicago the decor was nice just an average bar but very nice ambiance. Our waitress was very nice and extremely helpful. My only complaint is the blonde taller woman on the front register, she had a extremely rude attitude n was acting like I was bothering her to pay with my phone

The ambiance is great and the service is awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone loving good food.

We had a crew of 4 kids and two adults last night (friday night) and our waitress Sonja was absolutely amazing. She was going above and beyond for us in every way possible. She was very attentive to our needs and the thing I loved the most about her was her forward thinking ways - for example she saw we had four small kids and knew right away to put extra napkins on the table for us. She made sure we got fresh plates after our appetizer. She did all the small things that can make or break an experience. Really appreciate the staff upfront letting us have a ton of crayons and paper. These types of nights can be chaotic and the staff made life great for us. Thank you!

Great pizza (Zazzos special - yum!). Nice bar, very clean restaurant. Would definitely visit again

A friend lives in Westmont so we grabbed a quick lunch at Zazzo's before we headed out of town. My friend loves it here for convenience, service and cuisine. When we first arrived, it felt a bit like a chain restaurant. Ample parking, simple decor and a busy tanker out/delivery area gave a neighborhood feel. Our server was a fantastic lady who remembered my friend. She was very sweet and helpful. Our food was good and satisfied our cravings. I was surprised to see such a large bar presence and slot machine area. Overall, Zazzo's is a great neighborhood spot that works in a pinch.
